Ucluelet is a small town located at the southern tip of Long Beach, 40 km southeast of Tofino, on Vancouver Island, in the Canadian province of British Columbia. A fishing town, old wooden houses line its main street; more than 300 species of birds frequent the area, while gray whales pass through its bays and near its beaches from March to May, making it a prime location for observing these cetaceans.
